Episode Synopsis[]
After crash-landing on a deserted planet, a pilot makes his way to shelter, only to face a threat within.
Plot[]
A space pilot named Terence declares that he is going to die here.es us brief flashbacks leading up to this moment: an intense attack from his human force of pilots against death-star-esque planetoids. Terence is one of the only pilots able to open fire into the deadly stars, however, the recache from the explosion damages his ship and he crash lands onto a deserted nearby moon.
Realizing that his spacecraft is beyond repair, he begins to make his way to a structure that he can see in the distance, while constantly checking his oxygen levels that are quickly depleting. As he nears his destination, we can see that it is another space craft that has crashed. He comments that it must have also had a rough landing. Making his way inside, the craft pressurizes, and Terence is able to take off his helmet and hang it beside the door. Entering the main room triggers a series of functions inside, such as the maintenance robot that promptly crashes to the floor, broken. However, we soon realize that this robot is not broken at all, but instead, has somehow been re-wired during the crash to kill anything that moves.
He quickly discovers that if he doesn't move, the robot won't see him as a threat, but this backfires when the maintenance machine crushes his hand while investigating the wall that he lays against. Terence is forced to remain silent and still while waiting for it to move on. Terence is able to use distractions such as his helmet and a flashlight to lure the machine away from him while he recovers from his injuries against a wall and in the end, the pilot shines his flashlight against the robot's leg, turning its strength against itself. Terence is able to use that detached leg to destroy the machine.
